Scope of Works:

Pilgrims Hall in Brentwood is undergoing a minor refurbishment to one of the Elevations which over time had restoration carried out on it using only cement based mortar, this has now been rectified using the correct Lime based mortar.

Whilst working closely with the Client the Pilgrims Hall Fellowship and Mr Ian Marr from I J Marr Associates (Chartered Building Surveyors) it was decided to carry out the project in two sections.

The old copings were carefully taken off and cleaned ready to re-use all brickwork on the parapet was inspected and were it was found not to be sound was renewed using brick that were sourced from the surrounding areas.

The cement based freeze was carefully remove, cracks treated with Helifix Bars and Resin Repairs and then re-rendered using only lime Render, any bricks that were found to be beyond reasonable condition where cut out and replaced.
